The Problem
USA Digitizers is leading the embroidery digitizing and patches services for over a decade now. They have thousands of orders delivered on daily basis. The challenge was to increase the frequency of orders by twice by the end of next year.
The Opportunity
Place order easily so they do not wait for the next time they use their PC.
Customers would get their order as soon as they ready so they know how quick the service was provided.
Customers would be able to attach pictures in the order while using the mobile camera.
No more hassle of checking email everytime a new invoice is generated.
The Design
The design process was based on the challenge that the user journey must remain the same as the website because some users are following the same journey for over a decade. The icons, text, colors and the flow must be similar to the website.
The Development
In order to keep the single codebase for iOS and Android, I decided to go with Flutter. Started by building basic components (widgets) and were reused in the apps to reduce the app size.
Since the website was built on Laravel. Laravel provides one of the best support for APIs and powerful eloquent features made it seamless to perform the crud operations.
